In celebration of Occupational Therapy Month, Kristen Webb, OTR, walks us through a Functional Capacity Evaluation.
“This type of evaluation is typically used for worker’s comp cases to make sure you’re ready to return to work, or when you’re initially hired to make sure you’re able to perform your work duties,” says Kristen. She adds that it’s also used for disability evaluations.
Kristen is an Occupational Therapist, certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations. She is one of Appling Healthcare’s highly-trained and educated occupational, physical and speech therapists on staff in partnership with Bencura Rehabilitation Services.
