Audra Turbeville, FNP-C has joined Appling Healthcare Group of Blackshear and is now seeing accepting new patients.
Audra is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner that treats patients two years old and up. Her primary care services include chronic disease management, health maintenance screenings, acute care, women’s health, physical exams, sick visits, disease prevention, weight management, join injections, and patient education.
Audra originally attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. As a nurse, Audra worked in several facets of nursing, from corrections to home health. While working in home health she began to pursue and complete her degree in Masters of Science in Nursing with focus on Family Care. Audra is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Georgia. She originally worked in the interventional neurological and pain management setting. She then transitioned into primary care where she is working today.
Audra is married to her husband Billy and together they have blended 2 families. Together they have 6 children, although only 3 remain at home now. Audra resides in Alma, Georgia with her husband and children, where she enjoys painting, wood working and spending time with family.
