Appling Healthcare announces launch of major upgrade to Electronic Health Record system
We are excited to announce that we are nearing the completion of our upgrade to the MEDITECH Expanse electronic health record system. After countless hours of preparation and testing, we are ready to proceed with the go-live date, scheduled for June 1, 2024.
This upgrade marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality care and enhancing patient experiences within our community. The MEDITECH Expanse platform offers advanced features and functionalities that will streamline processes, improve efficiency, and, ultimately, enable us to deliver even better healthcare services to you.
As we transition to the new system, we want to ensure transparency and minimize any inconvenience to you. While we strive to minimize downtime during this period, it’s essential to acknowledge that some disruptions may occur as we finalize the integration and ensure a seamless transition. We may experience both scheduled and unanticipated downtime. We have worked with our staff to familiarize themselves with our downtime procedures. We may also have temporarily limited access. During the upgrade process, access to certain electronic health record functionalities may be limited or temporarily unavailable. Our IT team will be on hand to assist with any urgent needs and provide alternative solutions where possible.
